Admission Requirements

College Students

Students seeking admission in college must:

  • Be a Senior High School graduate
  • Present Form 138 with average grade qualification
  • Submit Certificate of Good Moral Character
  • Transferees must submit additional documents:
    • Certificate of transfer credential
    • Transcript of Records (Reference/Informative copy)
    • Certificate of Good Moral Character
    • Gen. Form 86 – Health Examination record certified by a government physician (if applicable)
  • Old students must present complete grades of the previous semester

Senior High School Students

  • Report Card (SF9/Form 138)
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character
  • PSA Birth Certificate
  • 2x2 ID Pictures

Enrollment Procedure

For Freshmen and Transferees

  • Proceed to the department of your chosen program for initial interview and course advising
  • Go to the Guidance Office to take the Assessment Examination
  • Submit required documents to the Registrar's office for verification
  • Secure a copy of the Enrollment Form
  • Fill out the Enrollment Form and secure Dean's approval
  • Have the enrollment form validated in the Registrar's office
  • Proceed to the Cashier's Office for payment of enrollment fees
  • Secure a printed copy of the Certificate of Registration (COR) from the Registrar's office
  • Proceed to the Computer Laboratory for ID picture taking

For Old Students

  • Request an Enrollment Form from the Registrar's Office
  • Fill out the Enrollment Form and submit to the respective college dean
  • Submit the Enrollment Form to the Registrar's Office
  • Proceed to the cashier for payment of enrollment fees
  • Secure a printed copy of Certificate of Registration and have ID validated

Grade Evaluation and Retention Policy

During enrollment period, the committee on admission shall evaluate the grades of every continuing student. Specific requirements apply to different programs to ensure academic excellence and professional competency.

Education Courses General Requirement

Students must get an average grade of 2.0 (equivalent to 85%) on all subjects taken in the previous semester/summer. Students getting a lower average grade shall be advised to shift to other courses. Failure grades in three (3) subjects shall result in elimination from the course.

BSED Grade Requirements

Minor subjects: 2.2 (83%)
Major subjects: 2.0 (85%)

BEED Grade Requirements

General Education Courses: 2.2 (83%)
Professional Education and Major Courses: 2.0 (85%)

Criminology Requirements

Enrollees shall be evaluated to ensure those entering the Public Safety Profession possess reasonable scholastic achievement and appropriate aptitudes. Students must have:
Minor courses: 80%
Major courses: 83%

Education Transferees

Applicants for transfer who have an average grade of 2.0 (equivalent to 85%) from all subjects taken in other institutions shall be admitted to enroll in education courses. Those with lower grades shall be advised to enroll in other courses offered by the college.
