Research, Development, and Extension for Community Impact
The Research, Development, and Extension (RDE) Program at BGFC is a strategic initiative designed to integrate academic excellence, innovative research, and community engagement into the institution's core mission. Established in January 2023 under the leadership of Vice President for RDE, Dr. Fel Janika G. Canta, it serves as a structured framework to guide faculty, researchers, and students in conducting impactful studies while fostering sustainable development and social responsibility.
Vision: A premier institution committed to scholarly research for educational instruction, guides policy formulation, sustainable socio-economic development, promotion and preservation of culture, heritage and eco-tourism, and alleviation of humanity, community, and the global Philippines.
Mission: The Research, Development and Extension Office acts as the hub of research for the advancement and development of the competency, capacity and capability of its faculty, staff, and the Grandenian students in becoming effective, productive, and innovative members of the community responsive to local, national and international issues.
Promotes high-quality, ethical, and relevant research across disciplines, supporting faculty and student-led projects that contribute to knowledge advancement and problem-solving.
Focuses on institutional growth through capacity-building, policy formulation, and infrastructure enhancement to sustain academic and research excellence.
Encourages active community involvement through outreach programs, partnerships, and technology transfer, ensuring that BGFC's research benefits society.
